It’s unfortunate for me that I usually give away my projects as gifts. Lately, I’ve been better about keeping my cross stitch, but I still can’t help it when there is a wedding or birth announcement.

When I was younger and first starting, I mostly stitched kits. My stitching has improved as I have gotten older. In addition, now I love incorporating beads and other embellishments to give my stitching a little something extra.

Maybe you just enjoy the simple relaxation of stitching and don’t need it to be “harder.”
