    1. Dawn is Gentle on Fibers

It is gentle yet effective. Dawn does an excellent job of removing dirt and grime without weakening the fibers. This makes it ideal for cleaning cross-stitch projects.

The suds are easy to rinse out of the fabric, so there’s no worry of leaving residue behind.

And, because it is a non-toxic, phosphate-free detergent, you can be sure that there are no harsh chemicals that could cause damage or discoloration.

Not only is Dawn gentle on your cross stitch but also gentle on your hands.

As someone with sensitive skin, I appreciate that I can wash my cross stitch without my skin becoming irritated.

Make sure that your materials are colorfast before you soak your project.

    2. Dawn is Powerful Against Dirt and Stains

The surfactants in Dawn help to break down the dirt and grime that can get trapped between the stitches and fabric.

The grease-cutting formula helps lift dirt and stains from the fabric, getting rid of any built-up dirt, oils, and other debris. Plus, it’s also effective at removing stubborn markings and ink stains.

The main reason I wash my cross stitch is for the non obvious culprits, such as my natural hand oils. Oils can lead to discoloration and deterioration over time. Dawn is perfect for cleaning my project because its entire purpose is to remove grease and oils.

By using Dawn, you can easily remove stubborn dirt and grime without damaging your cross stitch project.

    3. Dawn is Affordable

Dawn is an inexpensive way to clean your cross stitch and is easy to find. It is available in most grocery stores and drugstores at a very reasonable price.

This economical cleaning product makes it a great choice for budget-conscious cross stitch enthusiasts. Plus, a little goes a long way, so you get maximum value for your money.

Dawn really is a great bang for your buck and I love how easy it is to get. Compared to my expensive lingerie detergent that I also use to clean cross stitch, Dawn is a steal!
